When they came out to do the initial consultation it was clear to see the consultant had experience in dealing with our situation and was able to offer suggestions and recommendations with regards to making the wet room safe and easy for my mother to access. 'Acorn fitted a complete two storey extension on the back of my property. I had tried to get planning permission myself but had been turned down. They managed to get permission straight away as their architect had a great knowledge of what the council will allow and not allow. The job was finished on time even though we had a lot of rain, they just called more guys in on the job on the sunny days so it didn't over run.

'All I wanted was my hallway painted, I am elderly and my children live up north, I felt embarrassed calling for such a small job but the manager put me at ease, reassured me that it was alright and were out the next week to do it. The painter was a lovely man; he was clean, tidy and very polite. I have told all the ladies at the club to use them for any repairs they might have.'
